@mawr calligraphy is hecka beautiful and i lack all of the coordination to do any of it
and the expensive pens too
@mawr $50 is expensive for a pen for me xwx
HA! That was the exact example of a decent pen I referenced in the reply I was just writing. XD
@troubleMoney @mawr i buy,,,,, whatever i find the cheapest at the stationery shops
like, ink pens just aren't for me. first of all i hardly ever write things down ever ever, second of all i do not have the patience to work my calligraphy up to justify buying a pen that costs more than a few cents
i love what y'all can do with them, but it's just not for me. at most i buy cutesy colored pens i lie to myself that ill draw with but they're just sitting there
@squirrel The coordination is something I lack as well; it takes so much practice to figure it out at all, and the honing it is... a lot of work >..>
The pens aren't crazy expensive; some of them are, of course... but a decent starter set of pens and ink will set you back about $50. Then it's just dumping time and effort into the learning.
