@TrollDecker it's not a big deal? just implementing the reader-and-writer problem

@er1n @TrollDecker i don't know anything about that i'm just following a uni assignment where i have to run 100 threads and measure time is all

@TrollDecker isn't that inherent in multithreading regardless of language?

i hope that one day in my life i get to drive somewhere open far enough from the next living thing that i can just scream at the top of my lungs for a while and then drive back

if only java was a linux distribution i'm sure i'd have 5 or 10 techbros arguing in my mentions already instead of radio silence

nobody here knows anything about java threads? or am i asking too stupid a question

sometimes i get ads in spanish which i cannot comprehend and i can only attribute it to people who still think brazil speaks spanish because we're in latin america and it offends me

can someone confirm i'm sane please? given 100 threads (semi-pseudocode, this is java threads)

i should do:
for i = 0 to 100 then thread.start()
for i = 0 to 100 then thread.join()

instead of putting both commands in a single for block, because then the join would block the next thread's execution, right?

trying to remind myself that it's ok to not be friends with everybody at once and that it's ok to distance myself from people who don't make me feel good

whine

i don't think i'm smart enough to ever understand scp

i tried once and it made me feel very very bad

and that badness comes sometimes whenever someone mentions it and it's not like there's anything i can do other than not be a god damn baby
