I wanted to not mute shel because of that post alone but not even muting gets rid of that toot so like ... what am I supposed to do now?

why is it that when i mute someone their toot disappears from my timeline but when i refresh the page while the person is still muted it's back in my timeline? cc #mastodev

we can already hide images not marked sensitive by marking it sensitive by ourselves. it's not persistent but at least it's there

so why can't we do that with text toots as well?

though what i wanted when i wrote that post was an ability to just mute specific toots from your timeline entirely

@mathew yeah but i didn't work on lemmigs? or are you suggesting i get hired to remake the lemmings soundtrack in an old console?
