@chr@cybre.space YEAH YES

I WANT TO BE IN IT

YEA H!!!! !!! !

PLEASE

I just ran across a column from 1997 discussing "Mononoke-Hime", "said to be the last film planned by the great Japanese master of animation, Hayao Miyazaki". We are now, of course, half a dozen more "last film"s into his "retirement".

If you ever feel bad about saying "well, okay, just one more", cheer yourself up by remembering that Miyazaki does it too.

@blackle@dev.glitch.social i want a sun mug but they're rare and expensive :(

an os/2 one too

@blackle@dev.glitch.social hmm dunno about those specifically but at least the older ones don't go for much on ebay these days i think

@blackle@dev.glitch.social hmmm, like regular cassette?

80s computer datasettes didn't have anything special to them, the computer just encoded and decoded data to/from audio and recorded it like any other audio onto the tape

so a modern reimplementation is mostly just software

@TipsyTentacle it's not really rational i just think nanobots and their implications are scary

like a dog is scared of thunder

@vahnj i almost got a led one but the guy selling it in the train (clandestinely) passed by too quick for me to register

these two i have were bought similarly in other trains

suddenly wondering how out of touch i'll be with the youth of the 2030s

what do you call a bird accountant

budgiet

something that's been taking a long time for me to learn is that hate is a strong word for things you dislike

and that the things you subjectively dislike are not necessarily objectively bad
