i think i set up a markov thing once for an irc bot which used python so i'm sure i can do that again. so storing isn't much of a problem i don't think, i just need to know how to fetch everything, know how far i've fetched, and start fetching anew from the latest one?

at worst i'll use sqlite if i REALLY need to store my toots into sql. but i'd rather just put them down in plaintext.
