i wonder how to import npm packages to a betterdiscord plugin

im sure people know better ways to mess with discord the way i want to without using betterdiscord but until i'm shown that way i'll have to do it like this

so with betterdiscord i found a way to parse whatever i type and send and i can replace that message with anything i want

does anyone know of a good way to listen to incoming messages?

there's the onMessage hook but it shows absolutely no way how to read the message itself

i wish i could turn myself into a discord bot using betterdiscord but there's literally zero plugin documentation and im having to go by like, uncommented plugins that do other things to try to bend them to my will
