being a small internet community is nice if your community is tight-knit

a small disperse community just feels like you're talking to walls.

is there a way to change css without recompiling the docker image

if i can do that maybe it'll motivate me to work on computer fairies again.

i dunno what i'm going to do with computer fairies

i have 0 motivation to keep maintaining it

styling css seems like a pain (you need to rebuild docker image with every change i guess?)

idk

:/

we're still here, i think

computer fairies is now on master 0f8b7d06604d81a102eae1b263072fd04fa4cbe0

i guess at least if i don't have any active users in my instance there's no harm in doing a git pull without any previous announcement c: if this breaks computer fairies i won't know how to fix it so feel free to consider that case a viking burial for this domain ok

@dotUser i just mean it feels like everything is disconnected from each other

the sense of community i had felt three days ago already dissipated so maybe i'll just go back to twitter

it'll feel the same

i feel like mastodon died down

or, our instance doesn't have enough people connected to it to feel any different from twitter now

or maybe the few people following me are just asleep

maybe running a mastodon instance is too ambitious for me

i don't think i'll renew for next month, those of you who have it enjoy the domain while it lasts

envy

lol our instance didn't have a welcome like that, thanks for cherry picking

I really like that I can come online and say hello and get responses, it makes me feel like a part of a community rather than just "loser with account on this site"

@riking yeah it's mine. thought it was the server but realized that wasn't the case when 2 different servers had the same issue

... because the string is based on your local time and my computer had the wrong time somehow, ok

i dont wanna spoil but just a heads up it DOES have multiple endings
