Also, here's an additional hot take:
Whole pretty neat from a technical and nerdy standpoint, having a front camera that slides up or pops up is a terrible ideal to get around having a notch. More moving parts like that means easier breakage. People complain about glass all the time, just imagine if their camera breaks and can't use it anymore
@evie put a screen on each side, one side is all screen, other side has camera stuff and a little screen for selfies or whatever
@evie @troubleMoney microsoft has patents related to their foldy tablet/phone thing about putting half the lens in one half of the phone and half of it in the other and I want to believe that this would allow one camera to have a wider fov when it's facing you (unfolded) vs when it's rear facing (folded)

@masklayer @troubleMoney that's pretty awesome
Also F to pay respects for the MS Courier
@evie @troubleMoney Foldy tablet thing will probably still happen maybe
@troubleMoney or, my personal favorite piece of over engineering....the Opportunity N-1, which had a motorized swivel part for the rear camera that turned it to be the front camera
