Seriously, in one battle we lost 14 tanks, nine half-tracks, four gun carriers and two anti-tank guns because the crews were all outside having cups of tea

This was actually a real problem

Our tank crews kept getting shot because they got out of the tank to use a little stove to make tea any time they had a spare 5 minutes

Eventually the top brass just said "Fuck it, put a kettle inside the tank"

Reminder that British tanks are far better than other countries tanks because all of ours have kettles fitted so you can have a cup of tea in battle

@maple yeah, documentation on linux certainly has something to be desired
