Casio released a G-Shock watch with an octagonal case, the GA-2100, some people noticed that the case is vaguely similar in shape to the AP Royal Oak, a very expensive steel sports watch, which led to people calling the G-Shock the "casioak"

Now people have made steel cases for the casioak to go in (it's a very easy swap) and are calling the combination the "Royal Broke" as it really does resemble a Royal Oak from a distance but costs 2 magnitudes less

@noiob @wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @tom attach it to your skull! have cyber dreads that have a functional purpose!

@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @noiob @tom well that's less fun than having usb plugs poking out of you!

@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @noiob @tom huh, weird

gonna have to do a transdermal implant then

@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @noiob @tom oh really? they do the auth bit, I assumed they could do all the gpg stuff through nfc

@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net @noiob @tom I mean, you could just encase a yubikey in whatever that's biostable and implant that

that'd do gpg

just uh.. don't change your keys or anything, I'm pretty sure you can't program them through nfc

@mavica it takes a while and it shows gradually

kind of thing that happens to all of us I'm afraid, accidents happen

@mavica ah yeah, that sounds about right for the anti-glare stuff, that scratches like crazy

anything like that I'd tend to use toothpaste but that's super-super fine so it'll take a while to get the results
