food adj

something I really want to see come back into fashion around these parts, automats

It's a whole wall of little cupboards with fast food type things in, you put your money in a little slot at the side of the thing you want, the door opens, and you grab your food

Absolutely no human interaction required!

@maple no way to do it in any of the standard browsers

I've heard of something called Dago Browser which will let you do that I think

@vantablack for a second there I thought you were saying you were accelerating your ears at 4g

@hfrazey they really aren't cooperative with the whole photo thing

A lot of the time now they're right at the back eating the food so I can't get a picture due to insufficient light

I love this channel

Making knives out of various things

"hm... could do with a mould for this one, let's bodge together a vacuum former from random shit I have lying around"

birdsite link, subtweet

@Violet additional terms: tootsite, fluffy friend place, tooter, fediverse, 'verse, nice happy place

How to find a good instance:

Do you like friendly fluffy queer furry places?

Yes: computerfairi.es
No: somewhere else I guess

@Jo oh yeah

sadly they got icky GUI all over it and the new versions aren't cool

neg, money

@maple same

I'm sure that would be 100% my shit if I could afford spending $largeAmount on a switch and the game

Shadowrun, explosives

@Jo I was doing a vietnam war themed GURPS one shot, had a bergen filled with explosives, objective was to destroy a vietcong camp in the middle of the jungle

They had an arms cache in the camp

I used so much explosive we were able to use the crater as a secondary LZ when the inevitable shit hit the fan and we couldn't make the primary for extraction

Shadowrun, explosives

@Jo if you need to be precise with where you put your explosives then you're not using enough of them

I am blissfully unaware of the current discourse and I'd quite like to remain that way

Okay. #mastoadmin commentary time.

I've written a quick guide, So You're A Mastodon Moderator: noelle.codes/so_youre_a_mastod

My goal for this is threefold:

* I want to create a useful reference for moderators, so they know what options are available.
* I want to create a useful reference for /users/, so they know what the powers and limitations of being a moderator are.
* I want to help establish a /standard of moderation/, so we're all on a level playing field.

@Vann also let's make it so the entirety of the European Union can't see our website because we can't take 5 minutes to comply with regulations
