The first thought in my head any time I see a "CAUTION: HEAVY PLANT CROSSING" sign is still "fuck! triffids!" and I think it always will be

@masklayer bit of metal in the middle that's formed into a spiral, wants to curl up

when you flatten it out you do so by bending it in the perpendicular direction to it stays flat because of gaussian curvature

managed to get about half way through with hand tools until I went "fuck it" and cracked out the 'leccy stuff

the bowl bit of the spoon is a pain in the arse to do with nothing resembling the proper tools so that's a bit shallow but otherwise it worked out okay for the first thing I've ever carved
