it's just that it's different stuff all over the world sold as "benadryl", didn't know if your local sort was like the US variant or the stuff sold here or anything else, should have assumed you'd already checked that sort of thing

also the valerian root extract might be available in health stores

@mavica in the UK the best seller is something called Nytol which is diphenhydramine, that's also the stuff they sell as benadryl in the states but I'm not sure if your local variant of it is the same stuff (in the UK benadryl is acrivastine which doesn't do the sleepy bit)
there's also the traditional herbal route which is valerian root extract
