@maple god, definitely

the two groups are so often one and the same, and the overlap is immense, it's just they've gotten so entrenched in these patterns there's not really a way to get past them - not unless the person themselves opens a door

it's just fucking tragic on so many goddamn levels.

@maple it likely makes me too much of a bleeding heart, but 4chan is full of both people who are awful, and people who are hurting - desperately trying to loathe themselves into having self-worth

i wish i knew a way to say "please, stop, you're hurting yourself so badly. you deserve better, and you can have better" so that all of 4chan would listen

I finished up some work. I am very satisfied.

my concept for today:

border print of horses but it's a bunch of the horses photoshopped with dog mouths

you just wear it and go "it's normal horses, i don't understand why you say it's creepy,"

i ordered a delicious dinner and it's here and i'm so hungry but pain is like "lmao nah"............

@wigglytuffitout Well, if you haven't, your instinct of "This probably happened" is pretty damn good. I found a wolf, a tiger, and Stitch from just a (semi-)cursory search of FurAffinity
Wolf: furaffinity.net/view/22734672/
Tiger: furaffinity.net/view/24642607/
Stitch: furaffinity.net/view/11105018/

like a wolf? a dog, maybe? some sort of canine?

oh my god if this happened they were going for "ain't nothing but a hound dog" weren't they

have i actually seen pictures of somebody who's done a fursuit of their fursona in elvis impersonator gear, or did i just imagine that hard enough in the "this is plausible and probably happened" way

we may never know

@InspectorCaracal note: i may have laughed too hard at my own joke on this one because unless i am staring directly at a selfie my brain has decreed everyone is their avatars, so An Entire Caracal in an elvis jumpsuit is both pretty great and pretty plausible as something potentially seen at furry conventions honestly

@InspectorCaracal it's your destiny, as somewhere deep in your soul cries out to fulfill your true purpose in life:

elvis impersonator

@InspectorCaracal as soon as science invents a way for me to donate my pcos beard, you are more than welcome to it

downsides: not really enough to do more than maybe a decent goatee, but can definitely get you to Hella Sideburns

@InspectorCaracal HONESTLY LMAO dear men why do your haircuts have to be so boring

i think it's definitely a like. trendy cut. like 30 years from now we're gonna see an undercut and be like "GAWD it's so 2010s" but also there are some cute ways to do it and why the fuck not wear the bellbottom jeans of your day or whatever yknow

also tbh it's hot enough that if anyone's like YOU CUT YOUR HAIRRRR you can just be all "yeah. it's hot" and that is completely fucking understandable

@InspectorCaracal the undercut does give more room to play in basically, though it has higher upkeep/maintenance

lines/designs in it, or keeping it even shorter and going faux-mohawk if you feel like it, which can read very much more masculine

(at the very least it's often good chaff to confuse gender-radars so to speak. i'm very full of medicine and that's the best analogy i got lmfao)

@InspectorCaracal the last picture is a bit of a bad example because it's a bowl cut with an undercut, and i do not think bowl cuts are flattering on Literally Anyone, but if you put in some layers and make that bit a choppy pixie it works much better

@InspectorCaracal yeeeeahhh i think even with an undercut in place, it's just too femme for you - but it does read distinctly more modern/queer (as in first pic) when styled to show off the undercut

it means putting your jawline out there, but maybe consider a choppy pixie undercut? i feel like the undercut also brings structure to the jawbone that gives it some oomph, probably by sort of extending that line on up into the hair, and you can get much more not-straight-femme

(cw for eye contact)

@InspectorCaracal i admit i don't know much and this is a rather femme hairstyle, but maybe something related to a blunt bob? personally i think the straight sides and cut can kinda reinforce the jawline and make it have more oomph, though cutting it short enough to give that effect and frame cheekbones is also popular
