HELLO EVERYBODY. IT'S ME, THE WIGGLYTUFF, HERE WITH YOUR TOP GAMING NEWS. TONIGHT'S UPDATE:

splatoon gud.

AND THAT'S THE NEWS FOR TONIGHT EVERYONE. GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK.

honestly my ideal sate of emojis might just be like a hundred variants of :yell:

@maple OHHH OKAY that makes a lot more sense honestly

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON I'M JUST HAPPY TO HAVE THE POSSUM :yell:

@maple i have no idea what's going on here but can i just say i'm just now considering being able to do any of these hand emojis in any color and !!!!!!

the problem is ultimately that legal jargon being used in that legal context =/= how most people interpreit the word

hence why it's so easy to have people go OMG THEY OWN ALL YOUR STUFF NOW!!!! when really... that's just the legal verbiage they have to use for "and then we store your image on our servers and display it". people see publishing rights and panic but it's more a function of the gap between legal language and common language, as well as legal language vs. new tech.

*peers out onto the fediverse*

y'know one would think the internet would understand "this rather scary looking jargon in the TOS actually means that a website is given the ability to display your content, not that they now own all of your content forever" at some point

while i know there are some genuinely fucking odious TOSes and bad actors out there - i kinda thought we'd settled this with the DeviantArt panic

i'm just gonna....... repost them............

please look at this splatoon-sona of me as a cuttlefish, and also a russian inspired lolita fashion coordinate

what.... what is the 'please give me some validation' tags.....

what's the mastodon equivalent of obnoxiously reblogging your art the morning after

@zoey and, again, probably boring you to tears telling you shit you already know, but the moomins comics look endlessly charming.

and it's a bit late in period but probably the one rec you might not have already devoured, lmao - walt kelly's pogo is really lovely and lush in its art and will make you want to go wandering in the okefenokee (in the best of ways).

@zoey if you know tintin you probably also know asterix by now - but i have an enormous fondness for both series. asterix does spectacularly well in translation - a lot of my childhood was my dad reading asterix comics to me translating french, etc. on the fly and explaining the puns (as they tweak the jokes per language quite elegantly to make sure they all land). there's little nemo in slumberland if you're looking for hardcore classics as well!

@zoey i ain't actually that knowledgeable, and i'm probably telling you stuff you already know, but i remember around that time period (along with tintin) in my graphics novels course back in college, we did stop and read Krazy Kat - you might consider stopping by and giving him a go if you haven't yet comicstriplibrary.org/browse/r but i'm sure you're ahead of me there! the site also has some other comic strips - may as well flip thru it?

in which a wigglytuff whines about health stuff

i hate this cold. at the moment i hate it because there's so much snot going down the back of my throat that my stomach is very upset and i am both really hungry but don't have the appetite to eat anything GRUMP GRUMP GRUMP
