Oh goody, more copy protection. Pipe Dream uses a code wheel like the Monkey Island games, but instead of dates there are pipe sections. Fun.
Right now it's convenient because the game somehow fails to initialize its random generator properly so I always get asked the same question each time. The downside is that the gameplay is 100% identical each session as well, so that's not going to fly long-term.

@ChartreuseK My suggestion for that is to go find shareware CD-ROMs that contain OS/2 software. I think this one largely has 2.1 software on it: https://archive.org/details/So_Much_for_Windows_and_OS2_Power_User_Software_1994
but there's a couple of "IBM Presents OS/2 Software" discs on the Archive as well.
@nackaimlat@furry.engineer While I don't pay a ton of attention to my Local tab, I've been a computerfairi.es user for my entire masto lifetime, and not noticed any major drama. Practically everybody (save for myself) is either some degree of furry or some degree of queer so I can't imagine you'll have any trouble with that.
No idea if registration is open or not though. Haven't had to check in ages.

@mcc Roko's Genecyst?
They responded near instantly to my contact, asked questions that seemed AI-like or heavily scripted, asked me if i was familiar with a list of very specific hardware... then asked me if I could buy it myself, and they'd send a check to cover it.
I might be desperate for work now but that's no reason for me (or anybody I know) not to be Extra Careful about job prospects that seem too good to be true!
See this thread for more, as this person got hit the same way as me:

Some images from the animated About dialog for the Mac version of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, running in an experimental version of @scummvm. It's not pixel perfect (I guess ScummVM's Mac font renderer doesn't quite emulate QuickDraw rendering, and the rounded corners are also a bit off), but it should be enough to fool the casual observer.
I think we can all agree that this has been time well spent.
