It's 2026 -- DOES YOUR HARDWARE ACCELERATED WINDOW MANAGER CAST SHADOWS ACCURATELY?? 1996 for comparison.

A new engine landed in ScummVM!
Introducing: The Fool's Errand, a critically-acclaimed narrative puzzle game written by Cliff Johnson in 1987 and based on characters and arcana from the tarot.
The engine, implemented by own @moralrecordings, adds support for all known Macintosh releases of the game.
New on Patreon ($1/month or more): It's Soldier of Fortune Inc. and the episode "Alpha Dogs."
A run-of-the-mill 90s action show where one episode has a computer nerd recreating military combat scenarios in Quake, and gets more what he bargained for.

@Tijn if only there were 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Man movies, because then you could culminate in the ultimate crossover extravaganza of the medium:

I've had this post on the backburner for six years, through an entire format-change (it was almost a YouTube video!), before I decided it needed to be a blog post instead. Prime Target, a Macintosh FPS game that's weird precisely because it isn't weird.
