good morning. normally when i start a post with "good morning" it means i've just woken up and am about to describe a bizarre dream i had, but i've been awake for over an hour and can't remember any of my dream anyway.

so instead, here is

often thinking about how effortlessly chill and cool the Pink Panther is in this title card, compared to nearly all other instances.

@elilla @Kiloku given how many times Pokemon professors will tell you that "we really don't know much about these creatures" I suspect that clearing out all the unverified, inaccurate data (which is to say all of it) and starting from scratch is the norm in that world; every other year, declaring "THIS time, we'll get it right, we just need to start... all... over... again..."

It is deeply, broadly true that our society teaches nearly everyone to undervalue nearly everything about themselves.
You, any given person, are capable of so much. You understand things, you think about things, you have creativity and insight and compassion and a robust, structured understanding of things you've spent time learning.
And yet a computer program that has none of those things is currently valued higher than you. The good news is that this power can be resisted and defeated.

Modern Dragon Quest and its commitment to making even minor bosses have over the top personalities is a big part of what helps it to stand out so much.

Lo, the wonders of which it is capable, this unusually expensive flash cartridge. Add-on chips, faux CD audio, absurdly large ROM sizes, emulating an entirely different machine (the Super Game Boy) on a whim.

It has been a while since I've posted on here in earnest, I really should get that back up. But here is some (mostly) exclusive Golf Game Media for you: PGA European Tour, running on my SD2SNES.

Hii, I'm almost moved out from this apartment and I need to find a way to pay for moving expenses and the last couple of grocery trips. It's looking like I'm a few hundred dollars short of that. I do hate do do this when there are so many people in need, but any little bit helps

netizen.club/~wildweasel/updat - Not the largest update I've ever made, but when I end up with A Lot of Store Credit, and little idea what to put it towards, well...

"the landlords of thought" - the counterpart to the thought police, equally complicit in dictating what lives in your head and what does and does not pay rent for the privilege and will also evict things for no good reason.

I didn't note it in the actual post (for some reason) but I also overhauled the Enshrined page, sorting items into now five different sections, including an all-new section for items that are not golf games at all. Ultrapicchu demanded it. netizen.club/~wildweasel/enshr
