I work an at-home phone job, and having music in one ear helps the day pass. So I’ve got a good reason to have lots of instrumental music available, and this is one of my favorites!
It's just like invisionfree. Or proboards. Or an IRC network. 2004 all over again.
I wonder how long it'll be before I start having to have 6 different chat services installed again, too. It's been more than a decade since I've had Pidgin installed...

It's just like buying shoes or headphones. Past a certain point, you just get so sick of them breaking all the time that you buck out for the best quality, most expensive one you can realistically pay for, in the interests of never having to do that again.
I've probably bought $1600 worth of office chairs in the last decade or so, and they've all failed for whatever reason. Bad or leaky gas cylinders, broken screws, wobbly bases, bent parts, broken casters. It's about time I bought chairs that friggin work.
So I bought chairs identical to the ones I use at work. One for me, one for Mom. Merry Christmasbirthday, Mom.
Nothing is more "Tired of This Shit" than spending over $800 for a desk chair.
Except spending over $1600 for *two* desk chairs.
No matter what the world throws at me, I can always consider that cats still exist. And that thought sustains me.

Apple's hardware aesthetics have an almost terraforming effect: the sleek MacBook makes the rest of your desk look cluttered and irregular, their stores feel like alien temples you must assimilate into the customs of. I would like technology to feel more like going down to a local co-op hardware store where a lesbian sells you a hammer you will own for 30 years.
