I'm stalling on updating the Golfshrine website. These examples aren't uninteresting, and it's not like i have nothing to say about them. Just updating the website is a pain. Currently researching ways it can be made easier or more entertaining.
Maybe i should install Frontpage for Mac? Though I'd also have to struggle with how to upload the result...

Put them on approval or something for a while. There is a massive spam wave going on by some japanese group. Any instance with open regs is vulnerable. And it's involving an absurd amount of bots.
In this video, for example, while "Wanna cookie?" definitely gets Minnie's attention, in some instances she only gets up or meows back when her person goes "Huh?" for emphasis.
So many different people, presumably people who have never met each other in any form, seem to have independently arrived at going "Mmm?" at their cats to chat with them. Not quite meowing back, but also not quite actual words.
I'm sure there's an entire sub-field of human linguistics around pet-talk. It's fascinating, like an inter-species pidgin language.
