I got this today. a famiclone with an SD card slot from Renshun, the former Coolbaby company who disppeared for a while but have resurfaced recently

as for the hardware itself... you may have noticed it has HDMI output. the video is upscaled with a hq3x filter applied to it. the audio is pretty bad and seemingly missing the native DPCM channel altogether. so I couldn't exactly recommend this as a way to play NES games. It is interesting though!

They also weren't too discerning about what they put on the SD card

fun fact: those weird wikihow images are the product of "mechanical turk" style freelancing.

The reason it seems like an alien drew them is because it's basically a micro-job that pays a dollar per image if you're lucky. You're seeing the result of a crowdsourced artist's exploitation. They have to pound out like a zillion of those images, so everything is stiff and super literal. It's frankly amazing that they exist at all
