*Looms*
[I don't know if people prefer eye contact warnings on cartoon doodles too but I marked it sensitive just in case.]
[[TBH Both I and it are probably very sensitive, so it fits. :P]]
I got the physical watercolour in the mail today so in the frame it went.

"Can Janet get any more pure? Tonight we find out!"
Is this dancing Janet purer than Janet has been so far? I don't know, but let me know what you think! :D
Being a .gif masto is probably going to slaughter this. I can send you the proper thing on masto if you want/need it.
@melaininpony When I saw you avi in tiny at first I thought it was a cartoon seal with a relatively huge head. :3
(albeit better drawn than this)

Starting yesterday and finishing today, I drew @softgoat in the rain. :3
Her reaction was wonderful. :D
Answer 9
"9. How has your fursona changed over time?"
The earliest sketches I can remember were focused around a large fur collar that merged with the ears. I don't know if I had the same sort of yellow in mind back then but it was meant to be lighter than the regular fur.
After that came what you can see in answer 8, followed by one that has a simpler chevron pattern (less but larger). Recently they've been able to switch between male an female, that started around March but took off in April.
Answer 8
"8. How long have you had your fursona?"
Earliest sketches I have of them range from 2014-12-8 to 2014-12-10 ending in what I referred to as the first reference for them, but I did mentally mess around with the bat before then (and did sketch them, but I don't think I have any of those anymore. A little more on that for question 9 though.) so they didn't quite form as close to the current design as it looks. Note that the chevron pattern is different in these.
Answer 4
"4. What inspired your fursona's design?"
The chevron shapes (pattern and nose) were meant to be the slits in organ pipes (the musical instruments, no body horror) but I later found out those are/tend to be rectangular. (see the attached image)
The ears and bits at the front are just take from various bats, as are the feet. I think the colours happened because I couldn't decide on a dark blue (cold colours taking my preference) or brown. Thus, the wing membranes are now blue. :3
Answer 2
"2. Is this your first fursona? (if not, what was?)"
Sort of? It was the first one I'd call a fursona and I can't remember any good predecessor. The closest I can thing of was when i was very little I invented a character that was just a talking guinea pig (my favourite animal before bats) and he had everything I thought was cool.
When I was 5 or 6, "cool" apparently meant old cars shooting streamers and misremembered Chain Chomps (smaller, and the chain was gradually got larger)
Answer 1
"1. Post some of your favourite art of your fursona."
I don't have all that much of it, but:
1: New commission by @nventous, very cute.
2: Rather personally important drawing I did in April. Features @lizardsquid.
3: Many sketches by @shagoli of which I'll give an honorable mention to the sitting derpy one on the right.
4: I had room to upload one more and blushy bats are always good. :D (also self-drawn)
The Arts | Surprise~
Hey @loki I bet you weren't expecting this~ ^-^
I figured I'd surprise you with a bit of cuteness and tea, and now after several days of working/procrastinating here it is. The cuteness wasn't hard considering what that sheep looks like. I also did versions tweaking the colours towards red lighting.
I hope you like it. :3
As it went on it started looking best on a dark background so I also have ones with a dark red bg.
