so, the reason that i had originally created my own instance was so that i could watch and learn how activitypub worked. instead, i think that i learned a lot more about how gargron thinks and how the project's internal politics ended up influencing its structure.
that's really interesting to me. also, activitypub as a protocol is simple it turns out. the downside is that implementing it is more of an art than a science. it tells you what to do but not how to do it.
like a reverse cookbook.

should it be a 'bug report' or a 'feature request' for adding import options for lists and domain blocks?
because looking at it from an end user perspective, there are imports options for half of the export options so why shouldn't i be able to import ALL the things i can export???
