Misty decided today to prove what a good hunter she is.

Usually she does this by carrying around one of her catnip toys in her mouth and yowling until someone comes to see what is up, whereupon she proudly puts the toy down to show it off and get praise.

Today she did this with a small piece of meat that was placed in her treat bowl about twenty minutes beforehand...

@maple Yeah it's proper bloody weird. I thought it was just my setup too. D: But yeah on booting up after power off, it genuinely takes like 5 minutes to actually do anything with the internet. Everything ELSE on my computer will happily connect, load images, data, whatever. Firefox just sits there doing naff all no matter what tab I open.

then five minutes later it goes "OH RIGHT, THE INTERNET, SHIT I FORGOT" and everything starts working. -.-;

Welp, got my SSD installed, the boot partition onto the SSD, the files partition onto the now free and empty 1TB drive, and everything is working nice and fast and Firefox doesn't take like 5 whole minutes to be able to connect to the internet when it's first started.

I call that a rousing success

hmm, do i install this ssd card now? it will knock out my pc for... like... hours while I clone the drive, and then sort out things after the fact... hnmm...
