like, did you know that the Coal Authority here in england is part of who has to be contacted to make sure the property isn't previous/currently/potentially in the future going to be mined for coal via all various means including opencast, whether any faultlines or whatnot might make or have made the property foundations and landscape unstable, whether it's within 800 miles within such areas, whether coal even EXISTS there or nearby, if subsidance is a risk or not, mine entrance locations, etc
SPEAKING of Arknights it's 3am and I just nearly died laughing at this strategy video for 4-4 which stars (and only stars) my favourite squirrel girl in the game. Shaw.

Holding off a boss character and a ton of late game enemies on her own with just a few roadblocks and damage dealing runes to help her. and winning.
also it's Dragon Half so you know VEEERRRYYYY 90S ANIME style.
VERY 90s.
like... imagine the most 90s anime you can think of
now make it MORE 90s anime.
no, more 90s anime than that.
...No. WAY more than that.
i'm not kidding it's literally... wait no there's another game that's exactly like it but...
you even uh... you even basically hav ea board and you gotta navigate it by rolling dice and fight monsters and defeat the dark lord and everything but it's not got any licensed characters, but the dragon half game I think came first I guess????
...
fuck I played a version of it on the DS too what was it friggin called.
Ohhh, I think I know why I had Dive by Nirvana on this playlist. It's very Road Rash Jailbreak/3d sorta styled music and I played a lot of those around that time.
dang there's a fair bit of Blink 182 in here too.
...and... Nirvana??
Smashing Pumpkins? Dang.
... glad to know even back then I at least loved the Wipeout 2097 ost tho :D

which I still have because damn it's actually a good song and they clearly improved.
Gonna be looking through a fair bit of this playlist now for other nuggets of nostalgia and curiousity. :o
Obviously I don';t have the music files any more, I downloaded them back when mp3.com was ... well, basically what Soundcloud is now, but for the early 2000s.
But having the names really helped me find the tracks and... someone's uploaded several of them to youtube.
So if anybody was wondering what early 2000s Ren was listening to, it was...
...well pretty eclectic too, but despite never getting on a skateboard in my LIFE, I apparently liked very skaterish music.
yeah i'm moving over to chitter.xyz now. Soooo go there! I'm there now.
