I think everyone should take time out to question their gender and actively make that choice. Yes, even cis people. IMO, actively choosing the be cis should be encouraged, rather than just seen as the default.

People who insist that forgiveness is a necessary component of healing from trauma are projecting. Either they're an abuser themselves, and don't want to imagine themselves as unforgivable; or they're the type of person who needs this catharsis to let go of their anger and resentment, and they assume it works that way for everyone else. It doesn't. If that works for you, go for it, but I'm much happier having worked this stuff out on my own and with my therapist than I would have been trying to awkwardly salvage a relationship that was always harmful for me.

It's weird. Honestly, I used to be really great at legos. like I would just, slap blocks together and MAKE things. fuck. I was really good at it. didn't need instructions, I'd make gocarts and buggies and space ships and all sorts of shit just by experimenting and putting things together.

tried to play some spengineers last night in creative mode to make a gokart type buggy but got super distracted and ended up trying to figure out how to spawn loot crates infinitely. failed, but did manage to fly around and check out some other planets!
