Whenever something is super dusty, instead of wiping it off I just write amusing words in it, which I'm sure is helpful.

I'm going to call this a success, for now at least. I'm not entirely sure how I want this to look and I'm probably going to continue using Second Life as a reference, but unordered lists are good right now.

I think I'm gonna try and actually make folders work properly in Tilemap Town's client, instead of the current situation where items are *not* displayed in a tree, and opening/closing folders actually just shows/hides items anywhere else in the list.

@Saxxon It does amuse me a lot to run Nova the Squirrel on random things, and I like knowing that it'll keep running on computers for a long time to come because NES emulators will be around as long as we can run arbitrary software on our computers.

I feel like one thing that retro consoles really achieve that fantasy consoles (definitely not PICO-8) don't is that your game can't hit a wall where it can't grow without being rewritten for another platform. You always have options.

@Freya Yeah that makes it especially tricky. I'm the same way, and I've always felt out-of-place in any communities about kink interests I have, so I always end up leaving them.

I still wish there were more of a community for asexual people within the furry fandom. It's always been kind of hard not to feel second-class, I guess?

@Saxxon I've found that making a YouTube Poop seems to be a good way to really learn a video editor since you're encouraged to explore and see whatever wacky stuff it can do.

You're also not under any sort of time or quality pressure like you would be if you were doing video editing for some sort of serious purpose.

I'm good friends with a nonanthro fox who totally nails the role and successfully interacts without ever saying a word, yet in private she's very chatty and it makes me think of that trope of a magical animal who's gotta pretend to be mundane in public

This house was pretty poorly thought-out overall but I still like it and it has a good view. No walls means phantoms can get in (though replacing my roof with full blocks sounds like it'd help?), and jungles seem like they're just very dangerous in general, being dark and difficult to navigate.

I still think about and try to design around stability even when making stuff in LEGO Digital Designer I never intend to build irl

@maxine My girlfriend puts a photo of a squirrel plush at her keyboard in the corner when she streams

I've been using a TV as my computer monitor for awhile and apparently I've been using it this entire time with the equalizer set to "rock," oops.

Was kinda fun poking around and seeing how my music sounded with the settings changed around absurdly, but music players have their own equalizers I could've played with too.

Food photo

My pizza turned out well! It's very lucky that my favorite food is so easy to make.

Food photo, joke

My brother labels his food with his initial, but I like to imagine this ketchup restores all of your health.

I think my job interview went okay. I hope I end up getting picked.
