@fluffy_croissant crowns are pretty great
@shaderphantom I miss the control over your own experience that came with IRC
@softgoat Looks like if you copy them to a microSD card it will actually just dump a jpeg on there
@jeffalyanak I heard they're very inefficient and get very hot.
I don't intend on having kids but I'm still all for preserving retro hardware. In retro game communities I'm always condemning wrong-voltage parts and such.
@XerTheSquirrel Yeah running your own software on it is probably the most interesting thing you could do, and I'd feel way more confident releasing something I wrote to the world if I can verify it works on the real thing, too.
@XerTheSquirrel I kinda want one though I realize they're also $$$$$. Aside from my Commodore 64 I've got a TRS-80 Coco. I haven't really found a great use for either, but that's probably due to me not getting an adapter to load programs on from a computer yet.

@woob That's surprising, I really enjoy fuji. I primarily buy fuji and gala since they've been consistently good.
@XerTheSquirrel I've gone to IndyFurCon the past two years and that's an obvious application for using costume stuff. Though, if I had my choice I'd probably go all the way to getting a partial~. Maybe once I've been able to find a job and I can save up.
For getting Nova the Squirrel's box/label art drawn, I realized that stuff you intend to print probably should be much higher resolution than something you'll just display on a screen, but then remembered that NES cartridge labels are just so small (55x97 mm) that regular art resolutions are fine anyway.
@Saxxon Honestly sentient tails are awesome for providing you with someone you can cuddle and be affectionate with any time, and they're so adorable.
I'm a pretty squirrel princess who dabbles in roleplay, game development, retro game consoles, pixel art, and a variety of computery things.
