I found a reworked candlestick phone at Covent Garden when I was there, many years ago. Still have it.

It's Sunday, our day off from the show. Brad and I are at Covent Garden, at the spot where Eliza Doolittle bought her flowers to sell. Now there's a Shake Shack there.

Embrace change, or else you'll go nuts.

I don't know if this belongs here or not - it was my cheat project. When we bought our current house we needed a buffet for this niche in the dining room, but couldn't find anything we liked and fit and could afford. So I cheated. 3 custom kitchen cabinets screwed together, and I built the top and base out of a matching maple. I thought it would do until we found something. That was 20 years ago.

This is a wooden yarn box I made for my wife in 2017.
She knits & crochets a lot and the box keeps the balls of wool out of reach of the cats πŸ˜‰
It's made from three different woods, Utile, Idigbo and Walnut.

I've had the impression that you have to be either police or a landscaper to solve murders in the UK.

Look, the article just promises adding "Wow" to your wardrobe. It doesn't distinguish between good wow and bad wow.

I'm mean, I'm not exactly renown for my sartorial elegance, but isn't there something, like, fundamentally wrong with this? Or is it just me?

The first time I broke up with a boy was over the phone. I was 11. He asked me β€œwhy?? why?” in the most earnest, pleading kind of voice, so I panicked and told him we were moving to Africa.

Here’s the media story.
β€’10 killed in Monterrey Park
β€’10+ injured
β€’Male suspect fled & is still at large

All these folks were doing was celebrating the new year. And they suffered terrorism and death. This is what GOP considers β€œfreedom.” Smh horrific.

Didukh is a Ukrainian Christmas decoration made of ears of corn that we leave behind from the summer harvest. A symbol of the patron ancestor, harvest, well-being, wealth, and also expels evil spirits from the house.

I've noticed that they worry about being a democracy when they're getting more votes, and being a republic when we're getting more votes.
