@BatElite
I have quite a few imaginary spaces in my mind, though most have gotten less use lately.
*nuzzles back*
*licks their cheek* *pause* *blink* ...I'm not a cat right now, am I? *blush*

@BatElite
But you know, it's the internet. A lot more is possible in the imaginary space of online chat and social media.
*jumps off and reverts to human*
*cuddles*

Wait a minute, wasn't there an entire episode of American Dad about this?

No. Just plain NO.
Never liked Pibb. Far as I'm concerned, it's right up there with Dr Thunder.

@BatElite
I used to do it a lot more, years ago. Unfortunately the friend I used to do that with started bullying me because of another former friend doing so.
*purrs*

Maybe updating the driver via whatever packaging system the distro has can fix it, or using a binary blob from the card manufacturer's website.

"What if only 1% of immigrants are terrorists? That is already a risk too big!"
"Well we can't be certain we really _are_ destroying our planet so we can probably keep doing whatever."

@natecull
Even though that is in fact what he did, by way of making it self-destruct.

1984: omg what if a government used supercomputers to secretly track every detail of our lives. Must cut services and privatise all government functions (except spies, police and military) to prevent this!

2018: a loose cabal of unaccountable billionaires is now using supercomputers to secretly track every detail of our lives, to make themselves vastly rich and powerful. Well that's okay, as long as it's for *personal profit* it must be making us all better.

"Life's not fair" is probably the one saying I hate more than any other... Especially since it's true.
But I never understood why people simply accepted it like that's how things are supposed to be.
So life's not fair. Well make it fair! Right?

@softgoat
It's definitely not Linux in general. Maybe it's a problem with your Wi-Fi card's drivers, or with the distro, or maybe even some freak accident with data corruption.
Have you tried reinstalling Linux or switching to a different distribution?

@BatElite
Well... I gotta sleep now. Wish I kept better hours.
*hugs and nuzzles* Good night~nya~.

Blargity blargity blarg. It's closing in on 0600 here (PST), and I really should be getting myself to sleep. Meds, close computer screen, "sleep", probably look at notifications on my phone, then hopefully real sleep.
Maybe tomorrow I'll start trying to sleep at a normal time so I can wake up at a normal time.
