gender feelings, non-human feelings
I changed my profile pic to my human appearance and it made me think about how I only really feel comfortable seeing my human form when I’m dressed up nice. That introduces a conflict! Often dressing up “nicely” introduces a degree of discomfort. Wearing a bra, or a belt because my narrow hips don’t keep my shorts where they should be. But when I’m dressed so, I’m loathe to get comfy again because then I’ll feel less like a human I’m happy to see in the mirror.
@tvaziri it's SO GOOD
@scottearle listen, each one sharpens the other like a knife. it's just that one of them sparks a little more
@siracusa @hotdogsladies John please do not cyberbully your friend and cohost right out of the gate – you know he's skittish

@jake @hergaiety I agree with Jake’s points, and also it is almost a 1:1 UI copy of their now defunct Twitter app, Tweetbot. I didn’t use that, but many power users did, and the comfort derived from the similarity in UIs is a big deal
@jake lmao
