@rckenned yep, that’s the one! I am very much a Canadian west coast (and recently, Great Lakes region) runner, so the heat and arid conditions will pose a challenge… but Jamil is one of the two people who got me into trail running, so I figure I need to give one of his races a shot!

@rckenned I 100% agree! I am down here in Arizona getting ready for a 60k race in February, and I need to remember that any time spent out there in the desert is a prime opportunity to get acclimated and learn important lessons. The wisdom to not push ourselves into unsafe or unproductive situations is hard-won!
