Time to try self-clearing a package through Canadian customs. UPS wants $120 in brokerage for a box the size of a microwave. That's more than I paid just to ship it home from AZ. It contains $100 in gifts, my race bib & medal, and the rest is clothes I brought WITH me from Canada

It is fascinating to try out different blending colorspaces for gradients. The results can be wildly different. So far in all my testing I prefer the look of CIE LCh(uv). It seems to avoid the muddy, grey middle but without introducing 'unexpected colors’ in the middle like something like HCL can produce.

My two personal aesthetic goals this year are
1) get better at makeup, particularly eyes and contouring.
2) get two tattoos.
I answered 8 questions about my trans werewolf horror story "They Say Don't Get Clocked" as part of a thesis study by Miranda Lascelles.
She asks werewolf fiction writers "what aspects of humanity does Lycanthropy symbolize" in media and their work. I had a lot to say!
