Werewolf ideation
i do not have paws. i have long-palmed hands. strong, prying fingers. pale yellow claws the shape of commas. they look shaggy, clumsy, but they can undo a latch or a lock, pluck a phone or a flashlight or a gun from someone's hand, or separate limb from trunk in one clean motion. they are not paws.
@theLUCASTDS yep! It’s tough but I’ve managed up to 8 or 9 on training runs, and 10 to 12 on race days. I’ll have up to 17 hours to complete the course in Squamish, so training for a long time on my feet is worthwhile (if daunting)
@mavica_again mavica I’m hugging you and getting my fur caught in your joints and I’m squeezing you hard enough that I’m hearing materials squeak a little, but I’m also getting the sense that your construction and strength is such that you are humouring my gusto and could easily flick me off like a bit of grey lint. nevertheless I continue to hug you!
@mavica_again okay now I really AM workin on it
@mavica_again hell I could drink
@mavica_again she's over here on the original https://netizen.club/~angela/
my website https://maple.pet is already part of 2 webrings, the low-tech webring and the fancy fursona webring
i think i want to make my own webring, the "fuck google" webring, with arbitrary rules/vetoing by myself
there's plenty of general-purpose webrings already, i wanna take charge of one in my own means
if you reply to the post above's question i'll consider you for it (and make a better guideline/call for pages later)
auditory sensory issues
@D6016 you are not alone in these experiences. it took me years to get used to checkout sounds and even now i get overwhelmed sometimes
@mavica_again that's AFTER you cleaned them??? i love that! but then i also love scratches, nicks, paint transfer, and any other signs of use on a body or chassis.
@dj_chicken_trouble @mavica_again i don't love this one
Speaking of music, if you spent any time on a C64 growing up, you know that Rob Hubbard was the undisputed king of SID chip music. He made that thing make sounds from another world, his melodies were memorable, he is the best.
Anyway I just recently discovered there are nine excellent albums of his music out there! Here’s one: https://songwhip.com/robhubbard/commodore-64-sid-anthology-vol-2
