I'm having many interactions with Companies today. Here's what I've learned.

If I need to buy something I can rely on, I would much prefer to buy it from a company that treats me like I have a working concept of the past & an awareness of potential future needs.

@hotdogsladies You've gleaned through intuition what it took me an up-close cassowary encounter to learn for myself. He's Satan's own bird, and he has more of a right to be on Earth than any of us.

Deepening my distaste for a brand of trail running gear to which I was loyal for years: today I learned that Salomon makes a line of shoes and boots specifically for The Troops 🤮 salomon.com/en-ca/forces

If you’re being rejected or even ghosted responding to job offers you’d be perfect for, it’s not you. Apparently there’s a new trend of companies putting up fake vacancies for appearance’s sake. A bizarre and unethical practice. wsj.com/articles/that-plum-job

I'm recording an one-off episode of my video game podcast, 25c, with @ultranurd, who's had one for a bit, to see if he can convince me to order a @playdate. If you've got one, why did you buy a #Playdate? #videogames Subscribe to hear the episode later this week: 25c.goodstuff.network/subscrib

@kiry I've been pissed at MaxFun ever since the folks at the network unceremoniously shitcanned John Roderick

Single-character omg.lol addresses are super-rare, and lifetime addresses are even rarer — so when the opportunity to offer *both* comes up, we have to do something special.

The address “c” just became available, and rather than just release it back into the registry pool, I’ve set up an auction for it with 100% of the proceeds going to The Trevor Project.

Bid here if you’re interested! ebay.com/itm/295575038772
