werewolf thoughts / angst
I want to change. I want it to hurt. I want it to feel real. I want to have to tell myself “you asked for this” as I try to keep myself from screaming. Bone warps and skin stretches almost faster than it can grow. A trillion needle-pricks of hair sprouting. The fire in my fingertips and toes as claws grow in. I want to break this human form that’s wrapped around me like an eggshell.
@hergaiety enabled BY the friendship, sorry, my typing has gone to shit this weekend

@hergaiety (also thank you)
re: selfie
@hergaiety Christians would tell me my number is "666" but they've overshot my actual number by about 597
@hergaiety we are enabled the the friendship and understanding of fae/femme folks
@ahuster andrew I'm going to be real with you: they look extremely good and suit you perfectly
re: selfie
@crazy_pony sure! it is a fairly flimsy latex werewolf mask with sideburns and a mohawk, purchased from a costume store on the Las Vegas Strip in 2018. Here's me wearing it at a Shake Shack, just a few minutes after buying it.
re: selfie
@jake thank you! it's nice to fiddle with a few character creator sliders from time to time
re: selfie
@D6016 we were joking two nights ago about how the purple would look, grown out with my fur
re: selfie
@Violet thank you! i feel good with a bit more built-in colour blocking
@mavica_again lmao
@jake oh no Jake
@jsonbecker hard disagree with you and Gruber on this one. There are plenty of things that Apple Store workers do that is pure customer service, with no commission or purchase. If a worker spends 90 minutes showing a panicked grandmother how to log into the iCloud account she didn’t know she had in order to retrieve photos she thought she’d lost forever, and she wants to thank them with a tip, what’s the problem?
@D6016 this is perfect
