oops, upgrading dav1d to 0.6.0 broke firefox because libxul.so depends on libdav1d.so.3 & the upgrade removed it, installing libdav1d.so.4 instead. welp, good thing i didn't clear my pkg cache. `pkg install /var/cache/pkg/dav1d-0.5.2_1.txz` :/

thank you for the package locking feature, #freebsd. i mean that sincerely. with firefox locked against removal, i can at least keep working until this is sorted.

i just became a *real* isp help desk tech. i've been at this for 15 years, but today for the first time ever, one of my customers asked me about an email bounce message by printing it, scanning the printout sideways, putting the scan in a pdf, and emailing me the pdf. yes, the text of the scanned page was sideways in the pdf.
