@mavica_again I would love something like this for my GBA. it's waaay too loud on my headphones even with the GBA's volume knob at the lowest possible level before off.
here's a lil showcase of all of Grey Area's basic movement options!
don't forget to wishlist it on steam and come check it out on September 15!!
Check out the Link Cache that @mavica_again started - a simple collection of links -- a great concept that I'm a fan of. It's one solution against a search monopoly that's degrading daily thanks to garbage AI search results. (And as we know, link pages are how the web USED to work before everyone became too reliant on Google.)
@lion I really miss this both here and over at cohost
A big part of my presence on social media is uplifting the art of others and I rarely add to those conversations. When I do post I post with restricted audience. so the vast majority of my content is curation, and not knowing how people are reacting to that curation makes me feel like I'm shouting into a void rather than creating a gallery for myself and my followers to enjoy…
Trail of Cthulhu is a very good RPG! It uses the Gumshoe system which is tailor-made for running investigative stories and procedurals, and its twist is as a classic horror setting. It's really very very good and the Gumshoe system is one of my favorite tabletop systems ever. So definitely check out the bundle!

@Mustbetuesday this is always the harder part of making notes and reminders for yourself…
Single-use vapes are such an environmental hazard when not disposed of correctly; they should never have been allowed on the market.
@auravulpes as long as the math classes still list it as required, the price will still be as high as the market can bear
@GoatJamesAz you can save the computerfairies website as a tile and it works pretty well as a standalone app
This week I went to an event where they had this amazing machine that demonstrated the workings of a heat pump: taking a unit of heat from the right side and transferring it to the left side, the beers are cooled and the (vegan) sausages are warmed. I think it's brilliant and should be used to overcome any doubts or resistance to heat pumps, especially in Germany. Maybe they should be mandatory in every beer hall?
Since I've seen a lot of chatter about people switching to #Firefox as Google ramps up the enshitification of #Chrome, let me tell you about a killer feature for people who (a) need multiple accounts on the same websites (eg. devs) or specifically (b) have to use multiple Google accounts.
Firefox has an official addon called Multi Account Containers that lets you trivially set up color coded tabs that have separate sets of cookies. Log into your dev account in one, and your test account in another. Log into your personal #gmail in one and have another tab next to it with your work Gmail. I'm actually not signed in to any Google accounts in most my tabs, I just have containers for the specific tasks I do on Google products.
It'll take you 30 seconds to set up.
