Ways expensive healthcare kills people:
I currently don't feel the best. In particular, I might have the flu. But when I woke up this morning, my neck felt kinda fucky and I experience a few waves of nausea that nearly made me throw up. Yep, I was concerned about meningitis. But we can't afford an urgent care or ER visit, so, as it stands, we're basically stuck praying it's either flu or a very mild viral meningitis that goes away on its own. 1/

Yo, tagging a thing "meta" and talking about it with hushed vague references like "the event" does not help with people opting out with mutes, informing people what's going on, or helping people not in the know learn of things that may impact them

As a fun fact, I tried to give on Friday but they couldn't find my midline vein. Apparently, in the meantime, I was hyped up to one of the phlebotomists as being quite the challenge. I was not that much of a challenge, but my midline vein is pretty tricky.

So, I figured that Watatsumi and its history might be based off the Ainu people. Like, I'll be honest, I don't know enough about Ainu history or the Ainu language to say one way or the other, but it would make sense to have the kinda separate but related people to your Japan analogue the Ainu (iirc what little I know of the Ainu).
