Oh, this poor patient. So, I'm chilling in the lobby, eating lunch, as I do, and she's being taken to ultrasound. But the transporter stops and asks me where ultrasound is. It's somewhere in radiology, but fuck if I know where. The only time I spend there is coming in and out of work. (Cutting through there is the quickest way from parking to the lab.)

I hope he finds it quick, because otherwise she's going on an adventure.

Your system seems to be ready to run Windows 2000+. Consider upgrading to it.

@goaty I used to do this with Windows and Linux. I kept the Linux drive in most of the time, but swap in the Windows drive when needed. The only awkward thing with that is that Linux expects RTC in UTC while Windows expects it in local time, but that wouldn't be an issue with multiple Linux distros. So, yeah. It'd work just fine

Unfortunately, it's not in my job to know, so I'll never find out if I'm right

Fun fact: the guest network at my workplace asks for an email. The verification they use to check if it's actually an email address seems to be some form of *@*. Like, if I use "a@a", it parses fine. So, yeah. Someone in IT read "Falsehoods programmers believe about email".

OK So I said that I would go on this rant about AI last thursday, but dammit it was a long day and I got really dammed tired, and yesterday I was out for most of it. But today, Today I've got most of the afternoon to commit to bullshit before Eurovision starts.

Anyway did anyone remember the Willy Wonka "Immersive" experience in Glasgow earlier this year? It's going to be an odd intersection given that I am going to be shifting into the world of fiction but it's connected.

If you didn't or it passed you by, well it was this year's "Fyre Festival" not quite to the scale of that shit show, but a shit show non the less.

Well you may be asking what the hell has this to do with AI? And that is a good question, but one answer Billy Coul. Who is Billy Coul? He's an AI grifter from Glasgow, he was responsible for that said shit show. He used AI to do things for that said event (Namely art assets and to write a nonsense script). Also before that said shit show went down, he flooded Amazon with 17 AI-produced books.

As you would expect from the man that gave us the "Meth Lab Ompa Looma", they are also total garbage.

This question makes zero sense

@socks Yes. Yes, he is
