The point here is the normalization of these situations. There must be consequences for those who affiliate with cops, be it passive or active.

Which is why whenever there's a leak, you need to pry it open and burn it alive so no one would think of doing that shit in the future.

Even if they are here they need to know the likes of them will be purged the moment they show themselves or anyone who affiliate with them.

At the very least try to. I'm not saying it is to be guaranteed. I'm saying this must stay a taboo and should face harsh criticism from the people.

Absolutely no negotiation or compromise with the surveillance machine of the State. Purge them and their complicits from the root.

What set Mastodon apart from other media is decentralization. That state of off the grid also means no cops. If one can't protect their users from this basic threat, then they can fuck off.
@chao honestly this pic is just proof that cats are both solid and liquid in form at the same time.
image descriptions of the above two photos:
a black and white cat nuzzling into my hand while standing in front of my two computer screens and keyboard
the same cat looking at me/the camera expecting more pettings
@scarly they (not the FBI specifically but a lot of 3 letter agencies) advertise on campus every now and then, but promising unquestioning loyalty to any sort of government doesn't sit well with me. Let's reverse this; anyone who thinks these are good jobs is most certainly a nationalist patriot. Your assessment is more than accurate. This is all based on the things we know, who knows what even more horrifying things the feds are doing.
cancel culture. seriously, stop it.
@ben
Normally I would agree with this sentiment, but when social capitals come in it gets complicated. If a person has large social capitals, that means they have more influences on the actions of others and so must take more responsibility on the consequences of their actions and how it is perceived. People who passively or actively accumulate social capitals should face more scrutinization from the public as they are a threat in the market of ideas.

If there's a fascist sitting at a table with 7 other people, then there're 8 fascists sitting at that table.
honestly, my take on the fbi is that anyone that works for or with them is a cop, because they are
i like my simple non-nuanced take. it helps me keep perspective
i know some peeps are talking about technicalities, but do you think that the feds give af when they come after oppressed communities?
there's a lot of history there, and lots of valid reasons for the bad vibes. to ignore it all bc someone is only "affiliated" with a horrifically bad organization seems like a pointless distinction
