I was honestly having some doubts in the credibility of democracy, this just hits another nail in the coffin.

I don't know enough about Iris Valera to have an opinion here but the fact that US Conservatives support the "counter-culture" in Venezuela reminds me of where I came from. The post-revolution govs act like the shitty Tankies that they are and make people miserable. Then the people turn to the counter culture that was laid there like a trap by US imperialists to gather their support for capitalism - 1/2

Hmmm, looking through the list of crimes of Teofilo Rodriguez Cazorla and I don't see they mentioned how he treats women or queer people or how the other prisoners. Probably not great but it's can't be worse than the reactionaries.
