one of the toughest things I have to re-learn/remind myself is not every vent post on the internet (especially if you don't know them well enough to distinguish tone) is a cry for help and/or advice, sometimes ppl just need to vent on a public level about stuff

so I binge watched all of Tuca and Bertie over my 'weekend' & then immediately jumped into Cupcake & Dino and noticed that I really enjoy shows where any character (main or back) can be anything? ((gumball does this really well too))

1 bro can be an anthro cupcake the other can be a yellow dino & still be related. your neighbor could be an anthro-plant, an alien, robot, etc.

& I feel like this could apply to gender? or identity in general?

small brain: drawing mermaids with their tail having the same boring stiff bone/muscle anatomy of people legs

big brain: drawing mermaids where the tail is more like an extension of the spine/like a real fish

cosmos brain: drawing an octopus/squid/invertebrate mermaid

nirvana/energy points activated brain: drawing a scary/deep sea/trench mermaid

without spoiling anything (don't spoil me either! I'm on ep 4!)

I feel like the major theme for s1 is going to be (quote from tumblr),

finally got to sit down and watch the first few eps of Tuca and Bertie and I really like it! Idk if it will fill the void Broad City left, but I really enjoy how weird the style and setting is 💓 very relatable as well! 🐦 🐦

to clarify, the nails look normal, until they're close to a lock, at which point the tip of the nail will magically transform into the needed shape to open the lock

works on all old-school locks, doesn't work on electronic number pads and/or magnetic locks

idk enough about vaults to say whether it should open one, so I'm just gonna be lazy and say it wouldn't

I keep forgetting to share this idea but once, at work, I was watching a (cis?)woman unlock a door, and the way I was looking at her hand, it looked like she was opening the door WITH her very long (at least a few inches [~5cm]) nail, like a skeleton key....SKELETON-KEY FINGERNAILS!!

so now if you are looking for that 'extra' element for your witch/magic character please let me suggest,
