Oh yeah, you didn't hear? The Rocky Mountains are predicted to have snow *and wildfires* tomorrow

No biggie

Not thrilled about washing my winter accessories at a laundromat, but i'm pretty sure this stuff gathered dust over the summer/I can't remember if I washed them before I left my old place

Rereading .hack// Legend of the Twilight and getting the urge to RPG

@dragon ngl I love the HECK out of the intro song to Totoro, Japanese or English 🤩

the best disney ED themes/outros are the ones that have the protagonist side view walking to the beat of the ED theme and there's cute stuff in the background/foreground

ACNH

I get so sad when I see most of the villagers out & about when it's someone's birthday...

I know the whole island can't fit in one house, but shouldn't there be more than 1 villager? :c

Ballroom dancing: boring and sounds like an excuse to wear a dress I hate

Listening to Howls Moving Castle OST: but if a magical tall gal was leading the way I would TOTALLY dance in the sky with her ☺

Beastars | anime/manga | spoilers

@catgoat oh for sure!! I myself really didn't get interested in the plot until around chapter 35, I would say that chapter/arc is the catalyst that starts the transformation in tone and plot for the rest of the series

although, I bet some fans would argue that the tone *officially* changes when the "back-alley"/black market is introduced in ep6/ch 22 :bunthink:

Beastars | anime/manga | spoilers

I've got an ominous feeling a lot of people only like Beastars right now because it seems like "furry boarding school teen drama" and...

...it's not

Those elements exist, but they don't last. The high school is very much a temporary setting to a much larger more complicated adult world with characters that can't be split into binaries, or refuse to do so

I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed s2 onward when they find that out :\

@cassolotl@queer.party PDA seems more intense, and more of a social reaction?

Based on what little I know about the 2, executive dysfunction sounds more like an personal internal struggle "why can't I get started on this?", while PDA seems more like a more frustrating mixture between "I don't know how" and "I don't want to" external reaction to being asked to do something by someone else? ? ? :bunhdthink:

For your consideration:

Dragons wagging tails. Big, thick dragon tails. Potentially dangerous, but adorable as heck.

Phew, managed to call everyone in my fam that doesn't use social media and they all seem ok :bunhdcomfyhappy:

I love recycling old shirts into tank tops :3

the shirt gets to be reborn as a much cooler top than before lol

Show thread

ugh, these old tank tops have holes in them, but new ones are too expensive!

ugh, I love these T-shirt designs too much to throw them out, but I hate the babydoll sleeves!

wait...

a bunch of pop culture

so I got a buzzcut yesterday and I def look more like Eleven from Stranger Things than Furiosa, which means I actually have to watch stranger things now lol

TIL | drugs mentioned

today I learned "snuff" is a finely ground tobacco... I could've SWORN snuff was cocaine, but I guess my brain mixed up the two similar activities 🤔

something I already knew is the phrase "nothing to sniff/sneeze at" is a reference to snuff
