I'm watching Birdie with a friend so I'm using all my willpower not to marathon watch the rest of the show

but Birdie Wing is good and gets really good season 2,
it fakes you out for a second, but then DOUBLES DOWN AND,

this is a common theme in my life

I like cars, motorcycles, bikes, skateboards, whatever makes me go faster by my own will

I do not like horses (as a method of transport), roller coasters, trains, planes, anything that I don't have control over and have to trust in someone/something else

me putting a song on repeat: good, I can turn it off whenever

me when a show or game forces me to replay or revisit the same areas over and over again: repetitive, boring, why?!

tl;dr watching this interview with a polygot video, surprised to find that we share a lot of the same ideas for learning a language

but,... if only there had been a less annoying learning German podcast available to me in the late 2000's

I recall intensely hating the voice acting to the point where I couldn't pay attention to it ;w;
like yeah the grammar & vocab was giving me headaches, but the stuff I was trying to absorb was even worse somehow
