rewatching Mob Psycho 100 s1 with the English dub and so far so good

re: xmas

wanna clarify that I'm FULLY aware ANY kind of couple can be problematic and/or toxic, but I don't think I'll ever be convinced this song is about straight ppl

re: xmas

super double-checked this time and there are a couple of "his"s and a single "him" at the end

but no "he", "she", or "hers" are ever mentioned

(stares directly into the camera)

re: xmas

I am extremely disappointed and will continue to sing this song as a mlm song until I die because the singer never mentions a "she" or a "he" so >:P 🖕

re: xmas

if I'm ever reading this song as straight it's as a woman giving her heart to a careless man who regifts it to another woman thinking no one will notice (tl;dr everyone notices & it's super awkward)

xmas

it just occurred to me that there are ppl who assume "Last Christmas" by Wham! is straight, specifically that the singer gives his heart to a woman???

fucked up if true 😬

should I engage with the carp meme on birbsite? I keep getting like an ominous feel from it like,

"lol funny meme tonight, everyone's middle name somehow exposed tomorrow morning"

(in a character creator/avatar maker whatever)

character: (has brown hair) eh :\

me: (changes it to blue) yeah! :3

something I've been aware of but The Repair Shop is really hammering into me

that nostalgia is rarely huge & fantastic events, it's all these little memories, baked into routines, places, and if we're lucky enough specific things

no no, you misheard me, I don't have lesbian nails, I have *Lego* nails
(all trimmed short except the index/pointer finger & thumb in case I need to pull apart 2 legos of the same size)

it would be one thing if they thought my idea was bad, or that it didn't fit their problem, or whatever

but just straight up saying stuff like "that's too much work" or "but I'm too lazy for that" *without mentioning spoons or disability*

all I hear is "how can I trick someone into doing stuff that I am fully capable of doing myself"

fell for it too often in the past and I ain't fallin' for it now

rando on a forum: (asks a question)

me: (gives a thorough if lengthy answer)

rando: but I don't waaanna

me: >:\

grief and death mentioned

there's a chance I saw something in the author of the post that reminded me of my friend that passed away, and a mix between guilt and grief took over as I wrote more advice than that rando deserved? maybe?

but after 2 garbage replies, I'm fairly confident I know this conversation I jumped into isn't going anywhere :\

although I am copy-pasting my advice & links into text documents for later so I can share it later without having to look at this disaster thread

TFW you're giving some quality art advice on a forum to a rando that doesn't want to hear it

tl;dr I know where to find MP100 online, just, so tired :blobsad:

A rant | neg - | caps lock

also just really tired of,

"Being an adult means NO ANIMATION EVER!!! ANIMATION BAD!!! Let's remake a perfectly good animated movie (BECAUSE BAD) and make it live-action (BECAUSE GOOD)"

I am so exhausted with the endless amount of Live Action remakes of animated things
