physical health | might be gross

ok since I don't go to any events or hangout with anyone anymore I'm thinking the 2 most likely places I might've gotten this virus are

*I got some fast food yesterday night through a drive through, someone might've sneezed on or around the food

*I usually don't wear a mask in my therapists office (tl;dr crying) but she does have kids and the office (practice?) does child therapy

lately the fluid in the free govt tests is been kinda low (which could give a false positive) so that's why I used a 2nd test I got from a big box store

Show thread

well the good news is I did 2 different brand COVID at-home tests and they were both negative 👍

Y'all NEED to take this shit seriously and reconsider if it's really necessary to travel this holiday season

tl;dr I've caught some type of minor virus that's giving me a sore throat + a fever

I wear a mask everywhere, don't go to events, don't eat inside restaurants, don't have any kids or live with any kids

pandemic, disability

everyone i know who already lives with disabling chronic illness is fucking *terrified* of getting covid19 and getting *more* disabled. we already know what it's like. i think, for people who don't have this experience, the risk only exists as an abstract hypothetical. please believe me, You Do Not Want This.

pandemic, disability

i'm constantly warning everyone i know: do everything possible to avoid getting covid, because it's really possible that it will permanently disable you, which will ruin your life in ways you are not prepared for. and most people are responding like "that seems pretty extreme and pessimistic :-( and kind of inconvenient for me to consider rn". and i'm like, my guys, this literally happened to me from a much milder virus than covid19. i have genuinely had my life ruined by it.

went through most of the fandom tags I like on tumblr to fill up my queue and now I'm itching to rewatch all my fav anime :blobcatpeek:

it's like the 2nd most frequent thing bosses get mad at me for, despite that I rarely take more than a few minutes to do so and it's for my health???

I'll literally tell the hiring manager

"hey I had a hand injury and I need to stretch it regularly"

they'll say it's ok, and then like 2~ months later it's

"why are you stretching so much?!"

Show thread

I think one of the main reasons that my back hasn't been giving me any major problems (yet) is because I stretch a lot

the downside is that I get a lot of snarky/neg comments from others because of it 😕

food | some caps lock

me, like 30 minutes ago: it's fine, I can eat a sandwich in bed and there'll be NO CONSEQUENCES

me now: I have made a grave mistake (bed is covered in crumbs)

wizards and witches are not male and female per se but are genders unto themselves. but girl wizards and boy wizards are important gender subclasses, along with girl witches and boy witches

got the really old school Gatchaman OP stuck in my head this afternoon

most of the time I'll literally forget I have a phone until I leave the apt or get ready for bed :blobshrug:

PSA re: Telegram, NFTs, boosts requested

Telegram has now implemented a way to create an account by using a fucking NFT instead of a real phone number.

This is official. This is not some cryptobro-made UI Mockup.

And this comes hot off the heels of a cryptobro-made UI Mockup for NFT profile pics getting mass-downvoted.

Telegram blog announcing the update: telegram.org/blog/ultimate-pri

The NFT site itself (geofenced, US IP addresses won't work, but confirmed with VPN): fragment.com/numbers
