After 2 months of waiting for assistance and getting none, they wanted me to wait even longer for an explanation.
so instead I went in and asked. The person at the desk looked at my case and.... no-one had filled in the explanation. She had to figure it out from scratch.
She gave me the form, I went home, filled it out. Came back in the next day and was told I needed to fill out another

we were never told to fill out these forms, and yet they denied us assistance because of it.
Once we got the forms filled out, my partner was told that she was in debt to centrelink because she didn't tell them she was living with me earlier.
but I have no income. Why would she be in debt, when she's actually been paying MORE to support me too?

on top of this, Centrelink would not let me apply as a student, despite being a full time student, because you're only allowed to get student payments for the first 3.75 years of your degree, regardless of whether you were ACTUALLY getting the payments
and despite the fact that I was studying PART TIME for years, because i had a job alongside university, this rule still applies to me.

@lizardsquid that sounds both terrible and terribly familiar since I had to run through similar to get my partner's car registration :/

@atinyfairy your car registration was that difficult? heck...

@lizardsquid the short form is that we got the new license plate in the mail a week ago and the old one expired in march of 2016

@lizardsquid unfortunately I can't view it as twitter hates me and is constantly telling me I'm rate limited despite rarely even visiting twitter.

@lizardsquid centrelink is the biggest trigger to my current mental health issues. Since the interaction with them earlier in the year, Anxiety, Depression, and insomnia have reached a level they haven't in years.

@codeawayhaley yeah, I dropped out of a subject at uni because of the stress centrelink was causing me

every single time we visited centrelink, we were told different things.
When my application for payments was rejected, it was because I "hadn't filled in a required form". I was never told to fill in this form, by either the system, or by a person
when my application was rejected, they didn't actually tell me on the website why I'd been rejected, they said to wait for an explanation in the mail.
