Classic Doctor Who :: [Season 5 → The Ice Warriors]
There are quite a few early Doctor Who stories that are anti-computer, and I'm not entirely sure where that sentiment comes from
character limit meta (>500 chars)
@rachel 500 characters is never enough when you want to express complicated ideas - I like how dragon.style has a limit of 7777 characters, because it means that you're not restricted to such a small amount, but it also discourages you from writing a really huge essay.
I think also: tumblr's post -width- actually helps considerably to make long posts feel less long. Here, and on twitter, long posts have way too many linebreaks to feel comfy.
Classic Doctor Who :: [Season 5 → The Abominable Snowmen]
I finished The Abominable Snowmen. Surprising no-one, my recommendation is "Don't Watch"
Next is The Ice Warriors.
Petty complaint: "Ice Warriors" and "Abominable Snowmen" are concepts that are too close together, mentally, and I keep having to take a moment to figure out which one I'm watching.

Peter Dutton is currently under investigation from the solicitor general, because his wife gets money from a government run childcare service, and it's suspected he was involved in some kind of fraud thing.
Peter Dutton is currently leading the opposition to Turnbull.
So in the next 24 hours: our prime minister could be forced to resign, followed by the person who was forcing him to resign in the first place

So Australian Politics is messed up at the moment - the current prime minister, Malculm Turnbull, just had to cancel a meeting of parliment because a whole bunch of his party members resigned in the middle of it.
Tomorrow there will be a meeting, to see whether Turnbull will remain Prime Minister. It doesn't seem likely, given that he has very little support from his party
If he loses his position, then either Peter Dutton or Scott Morrison will replace him... EXCEPT
