excel, annoyance

I'm getting really really sick of the fact that excel is "smart" and redefines formulas whenever you move cells around.

It's great for when you're copy-pasting a whole table or something! But it's really frustrating when you're trying to do something with an ordering.

Even more frustrating: when the formula is part of the conditional formatting rules, and so you can't even directly see that you've moved something and now it's gone wrong.

Right now I'm running a sale to raise money for another queer friend who was ambushed with debt: itch.io/s/26572/feathers-for-z

one who is zealous is full of zeal, and called a zealot

does that mean that one who is jealous is full of jeal, and called a jealot?

@dankwraith @anomaly at the university I went to, Computer Science did have a mandatory ethics class, and it continues to shock me that other places don't have any ethics classes at all.

Pokemon Art Challenge #865: Sirfetch'd, the Wild Duck Pokemon

Very proud of how this good birb came out.

Last Fleet is live on Kickstarter!

It's a PBTA game about a rag-tag fleet, fleeing across space from the merciless inhuman foe that destroyed human civilisation. You play brave pilots, officers, engineers, politicians and journalists fighting to keep the fleet - and themselves - in one piece.

The game is focused on action, intrigue and drama in this high-pressure setting.

@softgoat in fact it definitely won't work, because you'd need to be able to delete the LiveOS while it's running.

@softgoat you could also try partitioning a USB stick into 2 seperate things, and install it onto the other partition (although that probably would not work at all)

@softgoat I think the easiest thing to do would be to install a linux distro to a USB, and then select your BIOS settings to try booting from USB first.

The easy way to do that would probably be:

• Have 2 usbs. On one install the liveOS, and the other is blank.
• Do the installation of the OS, but onto the other USB instead of the hard drive.
• Turn off the computer, unplug the live usb, and turn the computer back on.

I don't know if it would work, but I can't see why it wouldn't!
